You spend everyday doing the expected, unpaid, behind-the-scenes labor that keeps your family's world running smoothly. There's no way to measure the extent of what you do, everyday, on repeat, and a once-a-year Mother's Day card somehow doesn't feel like the "thank you" you really crave.
You want to be taken care of too. You want to feel pampered, doted-on, and celebrated.
Envision a photo session where you don't have to be in charge of anything. Every detail is planned for you, and all you have to do is sit back and say, "approved." Imagine a day where all you have to do is show up and someone else meets all of your needs.
This is the Bela Motherhood Portrait Experience, where for once, you are the one being taken care of and you are the one being mothered.

Hailey is portrait photographer for mothers serving Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, Sandpoint, and the surrounding areas. Through a full-service experience, she creates a space where mothers who are accustomed to serving everyone around them can finally disregard the to-do list, sit-back, and be the one who is taken care of.
From guided session planning, personalized styling, and professional hair and makeup to bespoke albums, museum-quality framing, and artwork installation, every detail is handled. Hailey creates mother-centered portraits that leave moms feeling not just acknowledged, but genuinely celebrated.

I take on a limited number of portrait commissions each month so that every client receives my full attention, from planning through final artwork. Because of that, I prioritize families who value a guided, full-service experience. Here’s is a step-by-step overview of what you can expect from that process:
After you reach out, I send over the details and invite you to a short discovery call. This gives us both the chance to connect, talk through your hopes for the session, and make sure this experience is the right fit for you.
If it feels aligned on both sides, we move forward with reserving your session date. Most families reserve their newborn session during the second trimester of pregnancy to ensure availability on my calendar.
DISCOVERY CALL

Everything is tailored to you—your preferences, your comfort level, your family dynamic, and the way you want to be seen in the images. I guide you through wardrobe, styling, location, timing, and the overall vision so that everything feels cohesive and thorough. We also discuss how your images will live in your home, so that nothing is left as an afterthought.
PLANNING APPOINTMENT

On the day of your session, you will be pampered and cared for by my team including professional hair and makeup. While photographing your family, I will guide you with natural, flattering direction, so you never have to wonder what to do. All that’s left for you is to relax, be present, and enjoy the experience.
THE SESSION

After your session, I carefully refine the strongest images and prepare a curated gallery of 30–50+ final portraits.

IMAGE PREPARATION
We meet for a private ordering appointment where I present your images and guide you in selecting the ones you truly love. Every detail is handled for you so that you leave with nothing on your to-do list.
ORDERING APPOINTMENT

Your artwork will be delivered approximately 3–4 weeks after your ordering appointment. All wall art includes professional installation, so everything is ready to be enjoyed from the moment it arrives.
ARTWORK DELIVERY

To preserve the level of care and attention each family receives, I accept only a limited number of sessions each month.
